Being a director is a crown of thorns, comes with a lot of responsibilities – understandable if you a full time, executive director being adequately or obscenely paid for discharging your duties. However, what about non-executive / independent directors, invariably professionals who are caught in crossfire between financial mismanagement of a company (e.g., cheque bounce) and the victims?
